A special trip filled with pride, learning and new perspectives for the future of training
Master Xingbo recently travelled to Tianjin, China, alongside his daughter Huicong, to support her as she took on an exciting new role at the 10th World Junior Wushu Championship. This marked a special milestone, as Huicong stepped onto the international stage not as a competitor, but as a judge for the very first time.
For Master Xingbo, the trip was also a valuable opportunity for continued professional development. Watching the world’s top junior athletes compete at such a high level offered fresh insight into the evolving standards of international Wushu. With his depth of experience, opportunities like this are rare, making the event particularly meaningful.
Observing the performances, techniques and overall level of the athletes provided inspiration and clarity on what is needed to reach the highest level. These insights will directly benefit our students, helping to shape training and support the next generation of athletes here at China Spirit UK.
We are incredibly proud of Huicong’s achievement and grateful for the opportunity to bring back knowledge and inspiration to our community.
