What we offer @ our Traditional Chinese Lion Dance workshop:
· History & tradition of the Chinese Lion—cultural & geographical knowledge
· Learn how to work the life size puppets in pairs—teamwork
· Learn the rhythm on the traditional Lion Dance drum—enhancing music development
· Learn special lion dance steps—enhancing physical development
· Bring the lions alive by their acquired skills
· Lion dance and kung fu performance by us—an opportunity for creative writing
· Mandarin words and phrases thought throughout the workshop—knowledge of a foreign language
Up to 50 children can be accommodated per workshop, which will last around 60 minutes.

Please note that these prices are for local (Wirral/Liverpool) schools. For non-local schools and other type of Lion Dance performances, please get in touch to discuss
First workshop £200, additional workshops are £100 each
Assembly lion dance and kung fu performance as an addition to workshops for 20 minutes for an additional £100.

Lion Dance's association with Kung Fu/Wushu
The lion dance has a close relationship with Kung Fu; the dancers are usually members of the local Kung Fu club or school.
They practice in their club and some train hard to master the skill as one of the discipline of martial art. In general, it is seen that if a school has a capable troupe with many lions, it demonstrates the success of the school.
